Adrissha WimberlyDuSable Co-Chair
In addition to being an AAMBAA co-chair, Adrissha is also a member of the Investment Banking Group, Christian Business Student Association and Chicago Women in Business Group. Prior to Booth, Adrissha worked in New York at Bear Stearns as a Vice President of Risk Management. Her previous experience at JPMorgan Chase in both Equity Trading and Structured Products Marketing has prepared her to pursue her long-term passion in entrepreneurship. Adrissha continues to build the Chicago-based start-up she co-founded, Mystones LLC, that focuses on money management for young adults. Adrissha graduated with Honors from Howard University with a B.S. in chemistry and is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. Her hometown roots are in Michigan were she represents her huge loving family. In her spare time, Adrissha likes to support local artists and cook.






Mauresa Pittman DuSable Co-Chair
Prior to attending the University of Chicago, Mauresa worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers as an Information Technology (IT) Business Analyst.  Her role was to be the liaison between business stakeholders in the Tax line of service and the IT department and external service providers. Mauresa is pursuing a career change to brand management. She is a member of the Marketing Group, Dean's Student Admissions Committee, and a Co-Chair of the African American MBA Association. Mauresa earned the distinction of being selected as a Graduate Admissions Fellow and and Vasey Foundation Fellow in recognition of her academic achievement and exceptional leadership potential. In her spare time, Mauresa enjoys spending time with her friends and family cooking, and following trends in pop culture.







Stanley BrayboyDirector of Special Events
In pursuit of an International MBA, Stanley is pursuing concentrations in Strategic Management and Finance. In addition to AAMBAA, Stanley is a member of the Emerging Markets Group, Corporate Management & Strategy Group, and the Booth Running Club. Stanley is a proud 2004 graduate of Morehouse College, where he majored in Business Administration and minored in Spanish.  Prior to the Chicago Booth, Stanley spent several years working as a Senior Associate in the Advisory Services practice at Grant Thornton LLP in Atlanta, Georgia.  He spent his summer at the United States Department of the Treasury. In his spare time, Stanley likes to workout, watch sports, and acquire random (read: mostly useless) knowledge.  He loves international travel and plans to have visited six continents by June 2010.





Amani BrownDirector of Marketing & Media
A native of Michigan, Amani Brown grew up in Detroit and later graduated from the University of Michigan with a dual-degree in Japanese and English.   After spending a year in Japan, Amani began her professional career at Mazda where she spent six years moving up the corporate ladder in various sales focused roles.  Knowing she wanted a career in marketing, Amani left Mazda and moved to the Corporate Executive Board (CEB) where she was an Account Director whose clients were Directors of Market Research at Fortune 500 companies.  She then left CEB to pursue an MBA to aid in her transition to a marketing-focused career. Amani is looking forward to a global career and is pursuing an International MBA with concentrations in Marketing and Economics.  She interned this summer on the Hellmann’s brand at Unilever.  In addition to her role in the DuSable Conference, Amani is co-chair of the Dean’s Marketing Advisory Committee (DMAC), a member of the Marketing Group, Chicago Asia-Pacific, the Wine Club and other groups.  Beyond her school activities, Amani is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated; she loves to travel, dance, and relax with friends.



Charisse Conanan Community Outreach Co-Chair
Charisse graduated in 2002 from Yale University, where she double-majored in American Studies and Economics.  Prior to the Chicago Booth, Charisse spent six years working as a research analyst and junior portfolio manager at JPMorgan Asset Management in New York City. At Chicago Booth, Charisse
is concentrating in Accounting, Entrepreneurship, and Strategic Management.  She spent the summer working on her startup, “Milestones” with her partner Adrissha.









Selena RokerChair of Guest Speakers and Panelists
Born and raised in New York, Selena J. Roker attended Bryn Mawr College where she received a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Economics in 2002. Prior to business school, Selena worked as an analyst in the Investment Management Division for Lehman Brothers where she was recognized as a corporate citizen for her commitment to philanthropy. Selena plans to return to the volatile world of Wall Street and is now pursuing a career in Investment Banking. This summer, Selena was an Associate at Loop Capital Markets in Chicago, Illinois. While at Chicago Booth, Selena is concentrating in Analytical Finance and Strategic Management. Selena loves to travel and has developed a love for collecting foreign currency notes.  She is a member of the Investment Banking Club, The Christian Business Student Association, The African American MBA Association and Giving Something Back. Selena is also a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated where she currently serves on the International Investment Committee, which actively manages over $11 million dollars for the sorority.



Chris WheatDirector of Logistics
Born & raised in Little Rock, AR, Chris graduated from Washington University in St. Louis in 2003 with a degree in political science.  Prior to Chicago Booth Chris spent five years as an equity research analyst and institutional stock broker.  This summer Chris interned with CUNA Mutual, an insurance and mutual group focused on credit unions. 
In addition to his role as an AAMBAA co-chair, Chris is also a co-chair for Admit Weekend, a member of the Investment Management Group, the Management Consulting Group, and the Corporate Management & Strategy Group.  Chris has lived in Chicago since the summer of 2005 yet still hates the Cubs.  He spends his free time running, attending Epicurean Club events with his wife (yes, a food lovers’ club), and coaching a high school debate team on Chicago’s South Side.





Cassandra DavisCatering Director
Cassandra G. Davis is a native of North Carolina.  She completed her undergraduate studies at the fabulous University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  Afterwards, she joined Bank of America's cash management group.  Cassandra later decided to pursue a culinary degree in hopes of having her own catering business.  After completing her degree, she worked for Aramark Corporation in their catering operations at various locations.  She worked with Aramark until returning to school to pursue an MBA.  Cassandra's internship this summer was in brand management with Procter & Gamble.  In her spare time, Cassandra loves to cook, travel, and read.
